i miss childhood.
the days when grandma & gradpa used to tie blankets across the bed to make us a fort. then we would hide in it and tell each other stories; ghost stories, the family tree, funny jokes, and the games we played.. oh, the games :)
the days when I got in trouble for being naughty, and all i had to do was hide under the covers suck my thumb and wake up the next day with a smile and slight amnesia of what happened the night before.
the days when all I had to worry about was, whether the sunny skies were going to hold up for us to play in the evening.
something is wrong. a kid wants to be a grown up so fast. when we're there it's like a trap. so we create more kids to relive our childhood through them. we build them their mattress fort. we bring them camping. we watch them play.
but in truth, we're the ones who need to come out and play.
i want to come out and play.
